DS Automobiles Integrates AI Assistant ChatGPT Inside Vehicles

As reported by Zhanchang Zhijia, European automotive giant Stellantis' luxury car brand DS Automobiles has announced that it will trial the ChatGPT AI service in its models. This feature has been remotely activated and covers 20,000 specific DS model owners. It enables interactive functions through voice recognition, and can even create children's stories. ChatGPT works in synergy with the DS Iris voice control system to provide drivers with an in-car "conversational experience," enhancing the travel experience. This aligns with Stellantis' strategic focus on product development. The integration of ChatGPT is currently in a six-month testing phase. DS Automobiles hopes that this initiative will bring a sense of technology and convenience to the in-car experience.

Microsoft is reportedly planning to adjust the distribution of Copilot benefits, with plans to remove the restriction that only the primary subscriber can use it. This would allow Microsoft 365 Family and Premium primary subscribers to share Copilot and AI features with up to five family members. According to Neowin, after the adjustment, the primary subscriber would also be able to manage AI access for minor family members. Currently, Microsoft's official support page still states that this feature is reserved for the primary subscriber.
