Adobe recently announced a deep collaboration with ChatGPT, introducing a new way of using the service that allows users to directly edit applications such as Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Express through ChatGPT. Users just need to mention the name of the relevant application in the conversation, attach the file they want to edit, and describe their needs in simple everyday language, and they can easily design and edit images and PDFs without frequently switching between different software.

For example, users can type "Adobe Photoshop, blur the background of this photo" in the chat window, and the system will automatically call the corresponding Adobe application to perform the operation. Throughout the conversation, users do not need to repeatedly specify the application name each time, which greatly simplifies the workflow. Depending on the instructions, the interface will provide multiple results for users to choose from, and users can also manually adjust parameters such as contrast and brightness using pop-up controls.

This integration does not transplant the full desktop version of Photoshop into ChatGPT, but instead offers some core functions commonly used. Users can easily replace text and images, modify color schemes, and even add animations to certain elements within the conversation, all without leaving the ChatGPT interface. This move signifies that traditional creative tools are transitioning towards a conversational interface, enabling non-professional users to directly control professional-level editing engines through natural language and complete complex operations.
