Google recently announced the addition of a slide generator feature to its AI note-taking tool, NotebookLM, allowing users to quickly convert notes or materials into concise presentation slides. This new tool is designed to help users efficiently organize notes, generate early presentation drafts, and enhance the visual appeal of existing slides.

The slide generator, along with the infographic feature launched at the same time, runs on Google's Nano Bana Pro model (Gemini3Pro image generation). Google stated that this model is the first to be able to convert highly detailed prompt information into precise images containing a large amount of text, providing strong support for the visual capabilities of NotebookLM.

Users can currently export generated slides as PDFs, but Google revealed that it is developing features to support exporting to Google Slides and PowerPoint formats. This feature is now available to users, although the daily usage limit will vary depending on the user's account type.
