Great Wall Motor will unveil the VLA (Vision-Language-Action) assisted driving large model and CP Master system at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show. The official positioning highlights four core capabilities: "understanding instructions, seeing 'invisible' dangers, thinking and reasoning, and being trustworthy." The first model to be equipped with this system is the new高山/蓝山 from Weipai, with expected delivery starting in Q2 2026.

Technical Details

- Perception: Front 4D millimeter-wave radar + 8MP vision + LiDAR fusion, with detection distance in low light/rain and fog improved to 250 meters, capable of detecting abnormal obstacles such as tire fragments and small animals.

- Reasoning: VLA runs on the Nvidia Drive Thor chip, with FP16 computing power of 2000 TOPS. An end-to-end multimodal model jointly trains vision, voice, and vehicle dynamics, supporting a "continuous 15-step logic chain" to complete complex lane changes, speed adjustments, and obstacle avoidance.

- Interaction: The in-vehicle voice assistant is integrated into the same VLA foundation. Users can say, "Help me find a coffee shop along the way with a pet-friendly sign and a rating >4.5," and the system will automatically plan the route and reserve 30 minutes for stopping.

- Safety: CP Master introduces "shadow mode + cloud playback," uploading more than 10 million kilometers of de-identified scenarios daily. The company claims that the highway NOA接管 (takeover) per 1000 kilometers is less than 0.3 times, lower than the industry average of 0.8 times.

Auto Show Lineup

Great Wall showcased six brands with over 30 models at the "New Lingnan New Great Wall" booth. The 2026 model Haval Manglong, H6L, Tank 400 Hi4-T, and Ora 2026 Lightning Cat were launched simultaneously, all reserving VLA hardware interfaces, planned to be upgraded through OTA in batches starting in 2026. The company revealed that the VLA model and CP Master system will be open to right-hand drive vehicles overseas, covering markets in ASEAN, the Middle East, and Australia by 2027.
