Recently, Quora launched a new feature for its AI platform Poe, allowing users to chat in groups of up to 200 people. This innovation enables users to collaborate with different AI models and robots within a single conversation, supporting various forms such as text, images, videos, and audio generation. The release of this feature by Poe comes at a time when OpenAI's ChatGPT has begun piloting group chat functionality in some markets, marking a transformation in AI interaction, allowing users to engage in more interactive exchanges with friends, family, or colleagues.

Quora noted that the launch of the group chat feature will bring a new interactive experience for AI users. For example, families or friends can use this feature to plan a trip together, using the search function of Gemini2.5 and o3Deep Research to organize information. Team members can also collaborate using various image models on Poe, brainstorm, and create a Mood Board, or participate in intellectual games with the Q&A robot in the app, adding fun.

Users can create group chats on the Poe homepage, and chat records will be synchronized in real time, making it convenient for users to switch between devices. Whether on desktop or mobile devices, chat content will not be lost. Quora developed this feature over the past six months and stated that it will continue to optimize it in the coming weeks based on user feedback.

"We believe that the potential for group interaction and collaboration through AI media is vast and still to be explored," Quora stated in the announcement. At the same time, Poe also allows any user to create custom robots and share them with others, aiming to discover more application scenarios.
