The marketplace features the voices of living celebrities such as Michael Caine and Liza Minnelli, as well as historical icons such as John Wayne, Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, and Alan Turing. The voices of these historical figures are recreated based on archival recordings.
ElevenLabs positions the marketplace as a **"consent-based, performer-centered approach,"** connecting companies needing voice licenses directly with intellectual property owners. Businesses can use these highly realistic voices to create advertisements, other commercial content, or even for reading functions in reader applications.
