Didi Hitch has officially launched a smart model called "Exclusive Protection" to effectively combat private carpooling. This new technology will analyze vehicle driving trajectories in real-time to identify any detours or abnormal stops, ensuring the safety of passengers.

According to Didi's official introduction, the model can comprehensively analyze communication between drivers and passengers, order data, and other information to fully determine whether the trip meets the "exclusive" scenario. This multi-dimensional data monitoring helps the platform promptly detect and stop private carpooling, maintaining normal hitchhiking order.

If private carpooling is found in an exclusive order, Didi will issue a yellow card warning to the violating driver and deduct the corresponding fare difference. At the same time, passengers will receive a full refund to ensure their rights are not harmed. During the validity of the yellow card, the driver will be unable to use the automatic order grabbing function, and passengers will also be able to see the driver's yellow card status to make their choices.

Notably, if a driver engages in private carpooling again during the yellow card period, Didi will temporarily suspend their account service for a period ranging from 3 to 15 days, depending on the severity of the situation. If the violation is particularly serious, the driver may face permanent account suspension.

Didi Hitch's initiative aims to strengthen management of the carpooling market through technological means, protect user safety, and maintain market order.
