Recently, ByteDance Group officially launched the "AI Douyin QiuZhen" feature, aimed at helping users identify and clarify misleading information or rumors in videos. When users browse content on Douyin, if they encounter posts that may cause confusion or involve false information, the system will automatically add a link labeled "AI Douyin QiuZhen." Users can simply click to jump to the "QiuZhen Card" page and obtain complete information about the event.
This new feature is not limited to a specific type of information; it can cover various hot events and topics. Each "QiuZhen Card" will provide detailed background information, clarifications, and authoritative reports on the event, helping users fully understand the truth. Additionally, when users enter keywords related to rumors in the search bar, the search results will also be presented in the form of "QiuZhen Cards" and marked with the authenticity of the information. If a piece of information is identified as a rumor or questionable, it will be clearly marked so that users can easily recognize it.

The behind-the-scenes of this feature is the "Rumor Governance Large Model" and the "Information Large Model" used by the Douyin team, along with support from a dedicated rumor debunking operations team. Li Liang, Vice President of Douyin, stated that rumor governance is one of the key tasks for the platform this year. Through this new feature, the company hopes that users can quickly obtain reliable answers and information verification when they encounter information that may lead to misunderstanding, helping everyone distinguish between truth and falsehood.
The launch of the "AI Douyin QiuZhen" feature reflects Douyin's efforts in information transparency and user protection, aiming to build a safer and more authentic information environment for users. As this feature is promoted, Douyin hopes to work with a wide range of users to spread true information and enhance users' ability to judge and be aware of online content.
