At the recent 2025 (24th) China Internet Conference, Zhou Hongyi, chairman of 360 Company, revealed in an interview that the company plans to release two new AI hardware products this month - an AI voice recorder and smart glasses.

Zhou Hongyi detailed the features of these two products. He stated that the AI voice recorder is not just a simple meeting transcription tool, but rather a device capable of intelligent analysis in different scenarios, accurately summarizing key points to provide users with a more efficient recording experience. He mentioned that this feature will soon be updated and applied in Nano AI Search, further enhancing the user experience.

Regarding smart glasses, Zhou Hongyi said he had carefully studied user feedback on Xiaomi's AI smart glasses. He emphasized that smart glasses must be equipped with display functions, otherwise they will find it difficult to highlight their advantages in competition with smart earphones. Zhou Hongyi gave an example, stating that interaction methods such as nodding to answer a call and shaking the head to hang up are already achievable with smart earphones. For smart glasses to stand out, they must create more new application scenarios through display functions.

He further explained that smart glasses with display functions can serve as teleprompters, meeting users' needs for cueing during speeches and meetings; at the same time, in translation scenarios, the content spoken by the other party can be directly displayed on the glasses' screen, greatly improving communication efficiency. Zhou Hongyi believes that such design will enable smart glasses to play an important role in multiple fields.
