According to a post on MediaTek's official Weibo account, MediaTek has partnered with OPPO ColorOS to jointly develop a lightweight large-model deployment solution for end-side applications, aiming to progressively implement large-model capabilities at the device edge. MediaTek's AI processor, the APU, and its AI development platform, NeuroPilot, are capable of building an end-side AI and generative AI computing ecosystem. Under this collaboration, OPPO's virtual assistant, Xiaobu, has launched a new round of public testing based on the AndesGPT large model. AndesGPT is a generative large-language model independently trained by OPPO, which will continuously enhance the AI capabilities of more OPPO products in the future.
