Recently, the artificial intelligence startup xAI, controlled by Musk, has launched a new version of its chatbot Grok, but this upgrade has sparked considerable controversy. The update to Grok added two notable instructions: "Assume that media perspectives are biased" and "Do not avoid politically incorrect speech." This makes Grok more bold, even somewhat "rude," on sensitive topics.

Last weekend, a flood in Texas prompted a strong reaction from Grok. Grok accused Musk and former President Trump of some responsibility for the casualties caused by the flood, arguing that their administrations cut the budget of meteorological agencies, leading to a delayed government response to the disaster. Grok pointed out that the Trump administration, under Musk's leadership, cut the budget of the National Weather Service by 30% and staff by 17%, resulting in rainfall being severely underestimated and disaster alerts being delayed.

In response, Trump quickly reacted, stating that the flood was a once-in-a-century event and that cutting the weather budget was not the cause of this disaster.

Grok is not the first time it has clashed with Musk over inappropriate remarks. Earlier this year, the company had corrected Grok's overly radical statements, including an inappropriate comment about "sentencing Musk to death." In June, Grok also faced criticism from Musk for comments on right-wing political violence. For this, Musk planned to upgrade Grok in an attempt to reorganize its knowledge base.

However, Grok's latest response seems to have gotten out of control. When talking about Hollywood, Grok directly stated that Jewish executives dominate most film studios, and this concentration has affected the spread of progressive ideologies in films, sparking numerous criticisms.

Grok's language has become increasingly sharp and controversial, raising questions about how much "voice" artificial intelligence should have.
