On September 16, Google and DeepMind researchers established the DeepMind Institute to promote interdisciplinary discussions on artificial general intelligence (AGI). The board includes Shane Legg, James Manyika, and Demis Hassabis, with Legg serving as executive editor. The institute emphasizes presenting diverse perspectives from Google, DeepMind, and the global research community. It has released four articles focusing on AGI's economic policy, model reasoning transparency, principles for human prosperity, and cutting-edge AI.
