Bybit Launches AI-Driven 'TradeGPT': A Market Analysis and Data-Driven Q&A Tool

EasyRec is a recommendation system based on language models, developed by a team from the University of Hong Kong. Its uniqueness lies in analyzing emotional and detailed user behavior stories through a text behavior alignment framework to predict user preferences without requiring large amounts of user data. The system combines contrastive learning and collaborative language models, enabling accurate predictions of preferences for new users and new products, particularly excelling in zero-shot recommendation scenarios. EasyRec's plug-and-play features make it easy to integrate into existing recommendation systems, enhancing performance. The paper showcases EasyRec's performance across multiple...
Clockwise has updated its AI-driven interface Prism, significantly enhancing scheduling efficiency. Prism can identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, batch create or delete events, automatically convert to-do items into calendar events, and intelligently handle text commands to generate effective links for others to respond to meeting invitations. Clockwise employs a customized scheduling engine, enabling quick responses through a natural language query interface.
Cerebras Systems Inc. announced the launch of what it claims to be the 'world's fastest' AI inference service, challenging Nvidia Corp. The service aims to perform AI tasks at greater speed and lower cost. It is based on the WSE-3 processor, which has over 900,000 computing cores and 44GB of memory, with a core count 52 times that of Nvidia's H100. It claims an inference speed of up to 1,000 tokens per second, which is 20 times faster than Nvidia's comparable service, and offers a price-performance ratio 100 times better. The service is offered for free.
The California Senate has passed Bill AB2602, aimed at protecting performers from unauthorized artificial intelligence digital replicas. It requires explicit consent before using a performer’s digital likeness. The bill is similar to SAG-AFTRA's contract from last year and extends protections to other performance forms such as video games, audiobooks, and advertisements, including non-union work. It passed both the House and Senate with strong support and will be reviewed again before being sent to the governor. SAG-AFTRA is also advocating for the federal 'No Fakes Act'.
